3/9/2019 - The Snyder’s Lake Association, in cooperation with the Town of North Greenbush, has applied to NYSDEC to use the aquatic herbicide ProcellaCor EC to control the invasive plant eurasian watermilfoil along the shoreline on Snyder’s Lake. The Program will be conducted by the lake management firm SOLITUDE LAKE MANAGEMENT, NYSDEC License No. 16505. A NYSDEC permit application has been submitted for approval for the application of the herbicide. It is anticipated that an application totaling ~27 acres of the 108 acre lake will take place between May 20 - June 27, 2019 following permit approval. Notification of the treatment will also be posted along the shoreline of Snyder’s Lake the day of the application.
